Is SQL Supported?

Yes,  both MySQL 4 and Microsoft SQL 2005 are available.  MySQL 5 will be available soon.

Does Parcom support ASP.NET?

Yes.  Parcom supports ASP.NET's standard default installation.  There are no add-ons, however strict security is of the highest priority with regards to ASP.NET.   Parcom will not install any custom products to add to our ASP.NET implementation.  If you require more than the standard installation of ASP.NET, then you should consider a dedicated server.

No. For security reasons our SQL databases are not accessible from outside our firewall systems.   But you can manage then with a web based management tool that we provide you instead.    In other words you cannot use remote administrative software designed for administrators.   And since customers are not "administrators" we do not provide full access to our network for obvious reasons.  Parcom maintains the most secure network in the hosting industry and for that reason, we strictly forbid remote SQL management via tools other than what we provide you.   For more information please visit: http://kb.parcom.net/article.aspx?id=10146
