How many client accounts can I have with the system?

The great part about our latest reseller program is that you can scale from one to as many accounts as you need with our system.   This allows you to build the plans based on what your target market requires.   You only have to pay for any additional bandwidth, space and e-mail.  Simple, very straight forward and no hidden charges at all.

Do I have to use this reseller service to resell Parcom accounts?

If you already enjoy reselling our current shared hosting services, you do not have to use the Parcom reseller service if you do not want to.  Although you will save in the long run using our reseller system due to being able to utilize the built in automated billing tools as well as be able to charge your clients whatever you want too.

Also note, that our standard shared hosting plans are "per customer".  If you have more than one customer, you will end up having to sign up for every single customer and pass on the control panel information to them manually.   This will create an administrative nightmare if you ever have to manage their accounts for them.    The reseller system allows you to manage your customer accounts from the top down!

Can I oversell my resources?

Absolutely!  If you wish.   Some resellers do, some do not.  At Parcom you have the unique ability to oversell your resources that you purchase from us.  For instance, if you obtain 10 gigabytes of space and you have 10 accounts that you give 5 gigabytes each, but your customers total out to using only 9 gigabytes of space in the end, you profit even more!    You do not have to buy 5 GB times 10 or 50 gigabytes of space when they only used 9!   Meaning you only pay for the total space you and your customers physically use.    Far better than buying empty space at other reseller systems that you'll not even use.   So why pay for resources you don't use!

Confused?   Just think of it this way, if you have 1000 customers who all use 10 gigabytes in total - you just pay for 10 gigabytes no matter what you told your customer they could have!

This is the same for bandwidth, e-mail, etc.   Now do you see the benefit of working with Parcom?    We'll help you understand this because we're successful already - and we want you to succeed too.

What happens if I do not pay for my reseller account?

If for any reason you are unable to pay for your reseller account 30 days after the due date, your entire reseller account and all client accounts within it will be shut off or taken over by Parcom.    This will be done only after many warnings and notifications are not met.   However, if you are able to bring your reseller account current by remitting all outstanding payments due Parcom within the 30 days grace period, then you will be able to maintain all your client accounts within your reseller account.  If payment is never received and brought current with all charges paid up within the 30 days grace period after the due date and repeated warnings and notifications, all client accounts within your reseller account will become the property of Parcom and will either be distributed to other resellers who are in good standing or taken over by Parcom itself.

Do my clients get a control panel too?

Yes!   If you choose to give your customers the userID and password plus the control panel interface URL, you can certainly do so.    We recommend it!   Some developers may choose to manage their customer accounts and that is fine too.

Can I setup a demo user to show off to my clients?

Yes!   If your user account starts with the word demo in front of it and is unique in our system it will become a read only account!  (Ex. "demotestaccount")  A fantastic feature offered by Parcom.  Just be sure to note that your customers should not choose userIDs with that keyword too otherwise their accounts will be read only too.   You have the option to allow customers to choose their own IDs or you can provide your own assigned userID format for them.  We highly recommend you auto assign your userIDs for security reasons.

Does Parcom outsource its servers to overseas or other services for the server network?

No!  At Parcom we own and operate all of our servers and equipment 100%.  Parcom does not even outsource support or any part of its workforce either!   We maintain our own data center network to assure our customers get a higher standard of quality and service.    If you believe your customers deserve the best of the best, then you've come to the right place.  We only purchase data center grade equipment - we do not use cheap throw away machines that won't last - we invest for the long haul because we are in it for life.     Many ISPs and hosts choose Parcom because we've spent almost a decade building up a first class system that you can proudly boast to your customers too.

How do I support my customers and how do I get support?

The beauty of our professional system is that you get free electronic support or you can opt for your own assigned engineering team that will be available to you 7x24 via on call pager.  Anything you need can be done via this team approach for you.   You ultimately must provide support to your own customers but we provide you with all the necessary resources to help you become successful.   We teach you to be 100% independent and profitable through all kinds of resources including video tutorials!

How are the name servers assigned and what is the domain of the control panel URL?

Parcom resellers get to use at no extra charge the generic and unbranded control panel system under the myinternetwebhost domain system.   This has been designed to work extremely well for resellers as that domain is not associated with Parcom at all.   It is a domain that has several name servers assigned to it for you and your customers to utilize.  Each customer is assigned name servers based on the server it's assigned to - and those name servers assignments are within the customer control panel.   Very clean and very easy.

What is the quality of Parcom's bandwidth and why are there cheap bandwidth providers out there?

At Parcom, we understand that there are many providers offering you "cheap" bandwidth.  This is not what we provide.   Over saturated networks, over packed servers, poor quality equipment allow you to obtain cheap bandwidth and cheap services elsewhere.   At Parcom, we are here for life - we are in business to establish life long business relationships with resellers for life.   Our network is not "capped" we do not do any hidden port filtering like most providers do and not tell you about!    We give you a pure fiber optic based network that was built from the ground up.  A high quality network with 100% uptime by the way.   The same network with a 100% power uptime system as well.

How do I migrate existing accounts to the reseller system?

Because the reseller system is on a brand new network of servers, you must treat a switch from our plans to your own reseller plan as if you were moving between hosting companies.  Essentially going from Parcom to your company.   Name servers differ, servers differ, and it all goes into your designed hosting package that your customer is getting moved to.   This is all up to you on how you do this but essentially resellers and users of the system are responsible for moving their own content and setup their own mail accounts when migrating from one network to another.  

We do not recommend doing this without understanding the reseller system first.   The reseller system is complex and very powerful - we want you to know this up front because we are giving resellers the most powerful system of tools around.  

If your primary focus is to merge existing Parcom hosted sites onto this system, please be aware that you should contact Parcom for assistance after you master the reseller system first.   That way you will understand all steps and increase your chances of smooth transitions of accounts.

We're very flexible with moving from us to your own system.  We do transfer billing credits too.

Why is this a limited service?

The owner of Parcom is offering a unique system that's for sure.   In addition to this, Dave Parmelee (Crazy Dave as we know him) wants to work one on one with many of the resellers if not all of them to assure they are successful.   Dave is already successful.  This service is a passion of his to help other businesses succeed.  He enjoys helping small business owners with advice and knowledge that he has gathered over the years and this is his way of giving back.  However, because his time is limited he only wants to help so many at a time so he can spend quality time with each reseller.

Will there be future openings if the service stops accepting new resellers?  Perhaps.  This depends on the needs of the current resellers and how they become established and successful on their own.   He may close the service to new resellers for a very long time too.

How does the template service work?
